HubSpot brings the sales and lifecycle side of a contact into En Garde, and writes segment membership back so marketing and sales are working from the same grouping instead of two lists that drifted apart.

What moves, and which way

Integrations run in both directions. What follows is what this connection is for.

En Garde to HubSpot

  • Audience segments, written as HubSpot lists or as a property on the contact record.

HubSpot to En Garde

  • Contacts and companies, with lifecycle stage and owner.
  • Deals and their stage, so pipeline position can be used as a segmentation filter.
  • Marketing email and form activity where your portal records it.

Connecting it

You approve the connection on the platform itself. En Garde never sees your password — the platform hands back a token scoped to the permissions shown before you approve.

  1. Open Integrations in your Brand Space. The page is titled Connected Apps.
  2. Find the platform on the Integrations tab, using the search box or the category filter.
  3. Click Connect. A dialog lists the permissions En Garde will request.
  4. Continue to the platform. A popup opens on their site where you sign in and approve. If nothing appears, your browser blocked the popup — allow popups for En Garde and try again.
  5. Leave the popup open until it closes on its own. En Garde then checks the connection status and the card moves to Connected.

Worth knowing

  • Approve the connection against the specific HubSpot portal you want. If you have a sandbox portal, check which one you are signed into before approving.
