Content Studio
Content Studio is where the words and images a campaign needs get written, checked against your brand, scheduled, and published. It is built around one idea: a content item is a single record that can be aimed at several platforms at once, so you are not maintaining four copies of the same post.
What a content item is
Every piece of content is one record with a title, a body, a content type, a set of target platforms, optional media, hashtags, mentions, and tags, plus scheduling and publishing timestamps. It moves through five statuses:
- Draft — being written, not visible anywhere else.
- In review — waiting on a person to look at it.
- Scheduled — has a publish time set and appears on the calendar.
- Published — live, with a published timestamp.
- Archived — retired but retained.
Content types cover most of what a marketing team produces: posts and social posts, stories, ads and ad creative, articles, tweets and threads, email, SMS, images, video, captions, carousels, reels, podcasts, infographics, whitepapers, case studies, press releases, and landing page copy. Target platforms are Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and X, or all of them at once.
How it works
- Open Content Studio. The library shows everything in the current Brand Space, as a gallery or a list, filterable by status. Each row has view, edit, duplicate, and delete actions, and you can select several items and delete them in bulk.
- Click Create to open the editor. Three shortcuts sit at the top: Create with AI for the guided hub, Use Template to start from a saved template, and Quick AI Generate for a fast draft.
- Write in the editor with the platform preview beside it. The editor counts characters against the limits of whichever platforms you have selected and manages hashtags and mentions as tags rather than free text.
- For a longer generation pass, use Generate. It has three modes — Copywriting, Image Generation, and Video Scripts — and asks for a content type (social post, email newsletter, ad copy, blog post) and a tone (professional, casual and friendly, urgent or sales, witty or humorous). When you arrive from a campaign, the campaign name, objective, and platform are carried into the prompt automatically.
- Save as a draft or publish. To schedule instead, set a publish time — the item moves to Scheduled and appears on the Content Calendar, which shows the month and opens any item straight into its editor.
Brand adherence
Generation reads from the brand guidelines stored in your Brand Space — colors, typography, logo, and the written guidelines — and how strictly it has to follow them is set by the brand adherence level: Strict, Moderate, Loose, or Custom, with a 0–100 value for each of brand voice, colors, typography, logo usage, writing guidelines, imagery style, and social media voice.
Content can then be validated against those settings. The check returns an overall compliance score and a score per category, shown as a percentage with a colour band — 80 and above reads as good, 60 to 79 as needs attention, below 60 as off-brand. If your brand requires logo approval, that is a separate toggle in the adherence settings rather than something the score decides for you.
Platform limits worth knowing before you write
The editor enforces per-platform limits, so selecting several platforms on one item means the tightest limit wins in practice:
- X — 280 characters, up to 4 images or 1 video, up to 20 hashtags.
- Google — 90 characters, up to 20 images or 5 videos, no hashtags.
- LinkedIn — 3,000 characters, up to 9 images or 1 video, up to 50 hashtags.
- Meta — a very large character allowance, up to 10 images or 1 video, up to 30 hashtags.
Each platform also accepts a specific set of media types, which is why an animated GIF that works on X or Google is not an option everywhere.
A worked example
A team is launching a product in three weeks. They open a campaign, then jump into Generate from it so the campaign name and objective seed the prompt. In Copywriting mode they produce ad copy in a persuasive tone, then a second pass in a casual tone for social.
The ad copy is aimed at Google and Meta. Because Google caps at 90 characters, the editor flags the first draft immediately and they cut it down rather than discovering the problem at deployment. Brand adherence is set to Strict for this brand, so they run a validation pass; imagery style comes back low, they swap the image, and the score clears.
The social posts are scheduled across the three weeks and reviewed on the Content Calendar, where the gaps are obvious at a glance. Two long-form pieces are left in review for the brand lead. On launch day the scheduled items publish and the campaign deployment steps carry the ad creative to the connected platforms.
Content Studio connects outward in two directions. Campaigns pull from it through their content creation steps and push the finished creative to connected platforms through deployment steps, so what publishes is governed by the integrations authorized in this Brand Space. Agent workflows connect on the input side: content generation is one of the actions a workflow node can take, which is how recurring content gets drafted without anyone opening the editor first — the output still lands as a draft for review.
Things to know
- Content is scoped to the Brand Space it was created in, and so are the brand guidelines and adherence settings the generator reads.
- In review is a status, not a queue with assignments. Formal sign-off with recorded approvers runs at campaign level through the Approval Queue; agencies also get an approvals screen covering agent actions across clients.
- Published content can be unpublished, and every item keeps a version history you can look back through.
- Generated output is a draft, not a decision. The generator returns suggestions alongside the copy, and the adherence score tells you where it drifted — both are meant to be reviewed.
- Character counts are enforced against the platforms selected on the item. Adding a platform later can put existing copy over the limit.
- Bulk delete is permanent. There is no bulk undo.
